Few will argue that the internet has fundamentally changed the world we live in and that it has profoundly transformed the way mushroom businesses operate. Information is readily available at the touch of a button and “conversations” between people all over the world are happening constantly. There are more mobile phones on the planet than toilets.
In this digital world news and opinions can travel around the world to millions of people in an instant. The internet has given consumers immense market power but it’s not always used responsibly. Unfortunately the information people receive may not always be accurate, and may not be the best interest of the mushroom industry.
