Abstract:
Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is one of the market-leading edible mushroom. As a saprotrophic, white rot fungi it is grown on composted and pasteurized wheat straw (substrate). During its production, Pleurotus sp. colonize the substrate, and degrade the plant cellulose and lignin polymers.
