Mushrooms are non-green vegetables. They are cultivated worldwide for their taste, nutritional attributes and potential application in industries. They are known to grow on a wide variety of substrates and habitat (Adesina et al.2011). Advocacy on consumption and cultivation of mushroom is increasing by the day (Adedokun and Akuma 2013). This calls for researching indigenous mushrooms, their morphology and genotype.
